Original Artwork

The original work which inspired one of the LAMYLAND hexaptych of skateboards featured in THE SKATEROOMs WHAT ARE WE SKATING FOR? event. This skateboard sculpture by Marc LESCHELIER renders Michle LAMY vomiting cement, an image which she herself praises as symbolic of the social impact of the event itself: building a concrete skatepark for at-risk youth in Tameslouht, Morocco. Marc LESCHELIER is one of the infamous LAMYLAND collective six artists under the patronage of the legendary Michle LAMY, internationally renowned creative hyphenate, and co-founding Partner & Executive Manager of Art/Furniture company Owenscorp.
