The intention behind Walead Beshtys work is the exploration of the relationship between images and the world in which they produce meaning. Inverted RA4 Contact Print / Processor Stall is part of Walead Beshtys color curls series. The RA4 Contact Print Curl works are made using manipulating a jammed or faulty photographic processor to cast images of its interior onto a print. Each of these flaws is captured during the photographs production and put on display to reveal the beautiful diversity of the effects they produce.
