Limited Edition of 100
In this first collaboration with the James Rosenquist Foundation, THE SKATEROOM presents the monumental American Pop artists work, F-111 across four limited skateboard editions.
Painted during 1964-65 in the middle of one of Americas most turbulent decades the piece addresses the connection between the Vietnam War, consumerism and advertising. Part of MoMAs collection, F-111 is a dramatic parade of juxtapositions, highlighting the sinister contradictions of 60s America. In F-111: Triptych A (Girl), THE SKATEROOM focuses on one of the most iconic sections of Rosenquists piece: the girl in the hairdryer.
