“The original Lucero “Jester” board was released in 1985. I was super stoked to ride for Madrid because they were down to let me draw my own graphics and design my own shapes. Originally I had my heart set on a Hott Pink board, but Madrid had just released a pink Mike Smith model. So last minute, I went with florescent green instead and the rest is history.
Today I’m stoked to re-issue the “Jester” in the original shape and Hott Pink color that it was intended to be. Manufactured at Madrid Skateboards in Huntington Beach, CA USA.” -John Lucero
